Children's Tennis

Children are the lifeblood of any sports club and Acton Bridge Tennis Club actively encourages and supports the development of children's tennis. We would ask all parent members to encourage their children to come to the courts for recreational tennis or for coaching sessions in the Summer, especially given the very low cost of membership. As a comparison, most Cheshire Clubs charge around £130 per year.

Coaching is available on Tuesday and Friday afternoons (4pm to 6pm) for children's groups during Summer months.

There is a session on Wednesday evenings for Under 14's from 6pm to 7pm.

In the past a member of the committee has supervised these sessions. However, due to current legislation regarding CRB checks and Club liability, it is now the responsibility of the parents to supervise their children. 

Courts cannot be booked during this Wednesday session however League and Cup matches will take priority, if alternative suitable match dates cannot be arranged. All match dates are shown on the Home Page in advance.

As an advisory note, parents are responsible for decisions regarding the suitability of playing conditions. The Tennis Club accepts no responsibility for personal injury or tennis equipment damage.
